QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Essential Criteria

• Excellent client facing skills, professional personal presentation, written and verbal communication skills. Experience with technical documenting • Desired industry / vendor certifications CCIE
• Extensive experience with CISCO Router/Switches, ASA / Checkpoint Firewalls, Riverbed WAN Optimisation, Citrix Load Balacing and many more
• Demonstrated ability to respond to critical system failures
• Strong knowledge of subnetting, ipv4, firewalls, routing, packet filtering
• Extremely strong technical ability in layer 2-7 IP, TCP, UDP protocols.
• Experience with network service protocols – DNS, DHCP, TACACS, NTP, SNMP, SSL

Desirable Criteria

• Good understanding of security operational processes and controls as well as a broad knowledge of security risks and preventative controls • Experience of implementing network management software
• Exposure to Cisco Wireless Networks
• Experience with project planning, including development of plans & schedules.
• Exposure to Avaya VOIP Systems
• Exposure to Bluecoat proxies
• .Exposure to Open Source OS such as Linux and Open Source Monitoring tools
