Job Description

1)Basic Functions
Perform Implementation and operational activities with regards to the IP/MPLS network and ensure the network stability and availability and follow daily tasks of IP/MPLS operation

2. Duties & Responsibilities

* Implementing and operate Cisco IP/MPLS infrastructure
• Provide higher technical support to operations teams with regards to IP/MPLS infrastructure and escalate to vendors the major issues.
• Execute configuration changes and software issues fixes.
• Supervise IP/MPLS services’ implementation covering the installations, testing & handover.
o Perform the handover acceptance for new implementation.
• Proactively perform corrective maintenance for IP/MPLS network.
• Produce periodic reports about the network activities, network performance and capacity.
• Analyses of complex network issues and recommend for solution.
• Execute the plans of preventive maintenance tasks.

Skills

Bachelors’ degree in Computer /communication engineering.
Must have CCNP or CCIP certificate.
Five to Seven ( 5 – 7 ) years of experience in network and telecom field.
Ability to maintain a large network with complex network technology.
Excellent TCP/ IP networking skills.
Strong understanding of telecom networks.
Experience with MPLS technology including L2/L3 VPN and traffic engineering.
Excellent skills in Configuring and troubleshooting Cisco routers and switches.

Experience with Cisco 6500 series and ASR Routers .
Experience with routing protocols (OSPF, RIP, EIGRP, ISIS and BGP).
Expertise in QOS design and configuration is a plus.
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
Excellent communication skills.
