Job Description
The role would be for configuring and setting up Service-now ITSM application and administer, maintain and support the implementation and operations. The admin will be responsible for hands own configuration and administration of ServiceNow. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in systems administration and engineering, understanding of the components of a cloud infrastructure including hardware platforms, OS,applications,databases, networks, web and application servers. The role is heavily slanted towards the configuration of the ServiceNow platform using ServiceNow’s UI based Configuration Capabilities.
- Core ServiceNow ITSM tool Knowledge (Development) (Min 3 yrs core experience in the tool)
- Hands-on Experience in maintaining, Administration, Troubleshooting of ServiceNow
- Solid Experience with Linux and fundamental internet services (DNS,mail,Apache/Tomcat)
- Experience with WebTechnologies (XML,HTML,JAVAScript,WebServices,http,etc.)
- Exposure in component integration (SSO,LDAP etc.)
- Experience in Application UI, Work flow Configuration
- Knowledge of MySQL database is desired
- Working knowledge of Perl/Python/Javascript is desired
- Strong ITIL V3 knowledge (Minimum ITIL foundation certification preferred)
- Exposure to Cloud technologies desired
- Excellent English Communication/Presentation skills (Oral & Written).
