-As a member of the PayPal InStore team you will help us build continuous delivery pipelines from source control management to customer-facing production deployments. You will work closely with development, systems, and QA teams. You will be an integral part of the design process and the decision-making process as well.

Responsibilities:
• Manage GitHub Enterprise SCM including user and group management, branching model, pull-request support
• Support development team with Apache Maven builds
• Support Jenkins build farms for build and package, deployment, and infrastructure support
• Work with systems team on platform management using Puppet and Ansible
• Build and maintain deployment automation using Ansible and CD pipelines
• Work with QA teams to integrate automated testing into CI pipelines
Qualifications:
• 8 years experience as a release engineer
• Skilled in building CI and CD pipelines
• Linux proficiency, specifically RedHat/CentOS
• Git usage and administration especially GitHub
• Experience using configuration management tools like Puppet and Ansible
• Understanding of “DevOps” ways of working
• Good understanding of the Software Development Life-Cycle
• Expert in Linux especially CentOS/Redhat
• Experience building Java applications for deployment to containers like Tomcat
• Excellent interpersonal skills with proven ability to interact with technical project leads, developers, quality assurance, and business team members
• Must be self-starter and work effectively with minimal supervision
• Ability to self-manage, self-motivate, and seek out process improvement opportunities
• Strong verbal & written communication skills
