Role: Business Analyst ( Wealth Management/ Capital Markets/ Financial Services)
As a Business Systems Analyst you are responsible for transforming the design and product vision into a seamless and delightful Wealth Management platform. You dedicate time to stay on top of the fast changing tech space and invest a lot of energy in learning new skills. You are caught up on industry trends in financial services product development with building skills to anticipate what the near future will bring. You love clean interfaces and have a real passion for extraordinary user experience.
Furthermore:
Product Management/ Ownership experience, e.g., translating business cases into story boards; managing the design, build and release of consumer facing software
Deep knowledge of Agile principles, practices/techniques (e.g., Story mapping, Value scoring) and the flexibility to adapt your experience to new and evolving environments
Experience acting as a constructive conduit between business and engineering teams
Experience in user centered design or user research techniques
Experience in the financial services industry, ideally in the High Net Worth / Ultra High Net Worth segments; active in the startup, agile and tech scene
Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum roles, artifacts, and ceremonies
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Comfortable working closely with cross-functional development teams of designers, researchers, developers, platform members, scrum masters, agile coaches and other teams
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Strong interpersonal/communication skills
Conducting business analysis and translating business requirements to customer experience and development needs
Strong ability to develop hypotheses and make quick decisions in a fail-fast supportive environment that fosters and encourages a continuous improvement mindset and execution
A high passion for driving teams towards high performance and a deep pride in quality craftsmanship that delights users
Responsibilities:
As a Business Systems Analyst you ensure MVP delivery by facilitating between product needs and development teams. Responsible for gathering requirements and refining the product backlog, translating designs into features/epics, documenting user stories and interacting with developers, QA, and business partners to ensure understanding of the deliverables.
As a Business Systems Analyst, you will:
Define the strategy, goals, and business objectives for the features and enhancements and communicate the vision to stakeholders and the development team
Maintain a roadmap for the delivery showing the direction and execution
Manage and maintain a visible product backlog and prioritize based on the strategy, goals, and business objectives to optimize performance and outcomes
Prioritize the needs for delivery of scope, budget and time weighing the needs and objectives of the stakeholders
Work with the agile team throughout the sprint with planning, refinement and review
Understand and anticipate the future needs of the features, users, and stakeholders
Review and evaluate the delivery, features and enhancements throughout each stage of development leveraging metrics, feedback and OKR/KPIs
Collaborate with Platform Lead, Change Management Team, Support Team, and Stakeholders for coordinated releases for the end user
